Hi I'm Lynette Mason.
I'm A Professional Executive Coach Helping You Build Your Dreams.
Giving you tools you can use to become more effective leaders in the workplace as well as to succeed in areas such as performance, innovation, and personal or professional relationships.
First of all, executive coaching is a profession that has been rapidly growing in recent years. Many executive coaches attribute this rapid growth to a never-before-seen level of self-awareness, self-care, and life balance in executive leadership.
In reality, executive coaching has been defined as “the application of behavioral science to the development and improvement of managerial performance.” In essence, executive coaches help their clients better navigate workplace issues such as productivity, leadership, effectiveness, and career management.
They help their clients (leaders) by giving them tools they can use to become more effective leaders in the workplace as well as to succeed in areas such as performance, innovation, and personal or professional relationships.
Executive coaches analyze existing behaviors and challenges of leaders so as to identify the ROOT cause of issues/problems and custom-design programs unique to clients’ needs and goals. The executive coach helps clients determine their own solutions by asking provocative questions that challenge underlying assumptions about business strategy, organizational culture, and leadership.
Executive coaching is a formal consulting relationship between an executive coach (an experienced executive or business leader) and an individual, group, or organization that includes personalized assessment strategies, feedback-based developmental guidance, goal setting, solution implementation support and results tracking over time.
Executive coaches help their clients become more effective leaders in the workplace by custom-designing programs for each client designed specifically around team-building exercises and skills training for employees who are already managers or hoping to become managers.

Are you looking for an executive coach?
Here are 10 things you should know before hiring an executive coach.
What executive coaching is not
Executive coaching is not therapy.
An executive coach is not a therapist or clinical mental health professional. Executive coaches are professionals who provide managerial support, perspective, and feedback in an effort to help leaders achieve increased success at work. However, executive coach cannot tell you what to do or how to behave outside of the work environment.
Executive coaching is not about manipulation.
The goal of executive coaching isn’t manipulative. A good executive coach will be open and direct with their clients while providing guidance and support. There should never be any rules set for this type of relationship other than “do the best you can.” An executive coach’s job, after all, is to help their clients find their way towards making positive changes in behavior, habits, and thinking.
Executive coaching is not an inexpensive shortcut.
Professional executive coaching isn’t cheap. Executive coaches don’t require their clients to come in every day, but they do expect them to invest time and energy towards receiving executive coaching services. This might be easier to understand if you think of executive coaching like working out at the gym: executive coaching is like getting your body in shape; results are slow (but steady) and can take time before seeing any changes after each session— but it’s worth it!
